Ooops, sorry :

Ah, got it, I was trying "High contrast" in "Colors" section, but not in
"Style" section! Sorry.

If you select these settings (white text and contrasted theme), it's perfect
both in KMail and in OpenOffice.org with respect to toolbar handles,
scrollbars, combo boxes, etc.

OK, got it. Thanks for the guided tour...

Cortrect.

Yes. But I don't think it has something to do with KDE. It's probably more a
matter of using fixed colors, which is wrong.

Okay, all that stuff deserves entries in IssueZilla. I can see three kind of
entries :

- OOo uses fixed colors, like the tree view in the settings dialog box that is
always written in black. This typically ends up in black text show on black
background... Such issues are internal OOo issues.

- OOo does not pick up KDE colors. Typical example seems to be the color of
the document's background, which, for some obscure reason, is always white by
default.

- The entry about monochrome icons is probably a problem of its own kind. In
the best case, it's just map a setting to another. In the worst case we would
have to add the possibility to use another icons set :-((.

In HighContrast style (not color) it is okay in OOo too.

Cool. You can put me on CC (I am "ebischoff").

Doing it right now...
