Hi!

This is a draft for a press release I plan to send this evening.
Any suggestions for improving it?

Olaf

KDE to host first Unix Accessibility Forum
- ------------------------------------------

The KDE Accessibility Project today announced that it is joining forces
with other accessibility projects for Unix and Linux to make computers
more accessible to all users, including those with physical handicaps.

The first Unix Accessibility Forum 2004, hosted by KDE and sponsored by
Trolltech, will be a meeting place of disabled people and accessibility
experts from a large variety of different companies and projects. The
Unix Accessibility Forum will take place on 22-23 August 2004 in
Ludwigsburg as part of the KDE Contributor World Conference.

Companies and projects that are participating with talks and presentations
include computer companies like IBM, Novell/SuSE and Trolltech, producers
of assistive technologies like BAUM Retec AG, and open-source projects
like the GNOME Accessibility Project, the Accessibility Workgroup of the
Free Standards Group and the See-By-Touch Project. Disabled organisations
have also been invited.

You can find more information and the conference program at
