Correct. The original list administrator, JP Schnapper-Casteras, asked
me to look after it for him. The list has never had much traffic -
just the occasional announcement or update for the most part.

Yes, unless there is a good reason to the contrary. I was considering
sending out a message just to find out what the existing
subscribers thought should be done with the list, whether it should
remain an extremely low-traffic list with an occasional announcement,
or whether they wanted more discussion.
In fact, I don't even know who is subscribed, how many subscribers
there are, or who has control of the administrative aspects of the
list itself. An earlier request of mine for general updates on what
list subscribers were doing, or thinking about, regarding desktop
accessibility wasn't received with much enthusiasm, which could be a
good sign (i.e., people were so busy with productive work that they
had no time to write about it on the mailing list).
