quite honestly, i don't like that idea. 
it's fine to have the realname displayed _along_ with the username in some 
prominent places (kdm's user list, logout dialog, the menu entries that lead to the 
logout dialog), but completely replacing the concept of usernames with realnames is 
just stupid. and my brain explodes if i only think about friedrich's picture idea. ;) 
 
as far as i like it, it is already implemented in kdm; the rest is WONTFIX as far as i'm 
concerned. you can reassign to 'kde' if you seriously want to keep up that idea, but 
i tell you that once you start, you have _a lot_ of work until you get something 
consistent again. also note, that you should not leave command line users in the 
cold, so the usernames must be still somehow available everywhere.
