Yes, this is indeed the right mailing list.

To your question: 42195 would probably solve your problems.

We are aware that KBabel interface requires a lot of space and that 
800x600 is a limit for successful use (I'm using this resolution as well).

Is your search pane resized when the name and e-mail of the translation 
author is too long to be displayed? In this case, could you, please, tell 
us the KBabel version (use menu Help->About KBabel)? Otherwise, please, 
try to describe the behavior when the pane gets resized.
