[Kbabel] create Po file from html

Hi mailinglist,

I want to translate my homepage from german to english.
After searching in Google I found kbabel (it sound to be the tool I was
searching for :-) ).

My problem now is:
1. how do I create PO files from my german html files?
2. After translating the PO files, how do I create from them my english html files?


I have already read the kbabel handbook. I couldn't find any solution for this.
Can anyone help me or point my to a helping tutorial ?
