[Kbabel] a novice Q

 I am trying to do translation using Kbabel from
English to Malayalam (my mother tongue !!). 

I have the .pot files and I am almost all set to go.
But 
How do I see the original messages in English and
translated messages in my language. When I set the
fonts, it sets both windows either in English or in
Malayalam(my lang).

Is it possible to mix English and Malayalam together.

any help will be helpful.
