It sounds like good idea to use OGRE (btw, for those who don't know, OGRE is a
3D engine library which uses OpenGL for actual drawing). But I think we can't
use such a library for Kalzium because that would probably be too big of a
dependency. Oh well, and I already coded for Kalzium pretty much what OGRE
would have given us.

It's amazing how we seem to be so many working in the area of "Qt-based 3D
molecule viewers". Yes, some joining of efforts is definitely in order if we
don't want to duplicate effort too much.
Unfortunately I can't think much about this now (don't have much time for
coding right now and the scarce time I have, I must use to finish Eigen, a
math library that we plan to use).
