I've uploaded RC4 here:

It doesn't include docs, it's not needed anymore, right?

I've made a branch in /branches/k3b/2.0 as you said. From now on the trunk is 
open for new changes :) Yay!

Feel free to commit it now. I also have a pile of commits in my local git 
repository. Commit your changes first, I'll take it into account when I'll be 
merging my stuff.

All I have is change log (see ChangeLog file in repository). As for Release 
Notes I'd be happy If you'd  write it, I hate writing too much ;)
