Introduction – Prospective GSoC Student Interested in GCompris

Hi everyone,

My name is Mohamed Yasser, I’m a second-year Computer Science student and
I’m interested in applying to Google Summer of Code with KDE, particularly
with GCompris.

I have experience with C++ and Python, and I’m currently learning Qt/QML.
I’ve set up the GCompris development environment and started exploring the
codebase and activities.

My goal for now is to begin contributing with small fixes or improvements
to better understand the project and workflow, and to prepare a strong GSoC
proposal.

I’d really appreciate any guidance on good first issues or areas where help
is needed.
