Hi Johnny!

I would like to be a mentor this season. I would add ideas related to adding new activities in the wiki page soon.

I would especially welcome a good writer, who can stay in touch with the students and also write some progress reports for our KDE publicity team. We have really fallen short there these past few years.

We must have both short and long project timelines, although of course each team does not need to offer both. Please look at your calendars and see what you can realistically offer to KDE GSoC this year, because we do not want anyone burning out! Much better to team up with another mentor or two, and share the load.

We want them thinking about sending along blog posts weekly, and checking in with the team as much as possible. We want them reviewing *your* code as you review theirs. We want them KDE blue. 😊

This year with the option of extending projects for up to 22 weeks we hope some of your community members that weren’t able to participate before will be able to make the more flexible schedule work for them.
