MacOS & 0.70 compile

You read my mind; that’s what I already began working on :) I also tried manually copying QtDBus to the app bundle but I guess the executable still needs to be linked to it :( On the other hand, when I use the mac version of ldd (otool -L) to look at the locally linked app that runs, it isn’t linked to QtDBus either…that one doesn’t crash, just the .dmg one from the “make package” call.

Anyway. I’ll get back to everyone when/if I have something running on 5.8, if not 5.7; I might see what happens on 5.9 beta if I get time. Thanks again for your help; ttysoon!

I installed a new 5.6 on 4/28 when I wasn’t sure whether all the plugins were there, and when I look through the QT installation log it looks like it’s 5.6.2 as I’d expect, and I thought I saw it in the crash report too—both just talked about 5.6.2, they didn’t definitively say “QT version is 5.6.2” though. I’ll find out how I can verify positively but I wonder why the newer installer would use an older release anyway. Whether it is or not I’ll try to find out if QtDBus was included like it’s supposed to be. Thanks!
