Thanks.  I do know I tried that at least.  it seemed like the configure script ran okay, but then I didn't see any make files.  I will definitely send more information after I get home in a few hours though...talk to you soon.

I think the issue is here. Makefiles generated by CMake need cmake to be 
on the path. Try adding the directory in which cmake binary is in the 
PATH env variable.
