[gcompris-devel] help needed for making debian package

i have made the debian package. I have installed it and it is noww coming
under Applications->education->gcompris.
But when i am trying to launch it, there comes :

Could not launch menu item
Failed to execute child process "gcompris" (Permission denied)

On terminal also the command 'gcompris' is not coming.
