I'm not working in school, but as social worker with people who have a 
brain handicap. But Gcompris is for my children, and the EPIA is my 
personnal computer.
This mainboard and my SCSI-CDROM seems to have problems even with the 
Freeduc Live distribution, that I've tested with no success :(

I know Gcompris since 1.0.0 pre4, and peharps it was the first source 
code I have compiled. But one day I decided to upgrade and therefore the 
problems happend.
I've tried rpm -Uvh --nodeps gcompris.xxxx but when I launch gcompris 
I've an error message about the libpython. I will try with --force.

I know Linux software are made by people who spent personnal time to do 
it. I didn't want to hurt them, just give my experience of a newbie :)
M. JORGE, you're surely right when you writed rpm is a service, and 
peharps it's the futur of Linux that that binaries will be sold and 
source code free ????

Je serais très intérressé pour échanger autour des activités 
informatiques et des publics n'ayant peu ou pas accès à l'écriture 
(maternelles, personnes atteintes de handicaps mentaux ou sociaux).
