Bruno sent the link a few weeks ago on the list, if I remember well. So, 
maybe the link can be added to the website.

Just have to add:
rpm -Uvh libassetml*
rpm -Uvh assetml*
rpm -Uvh gcompris*

and it's pretty clear on how to install gcompris on rpm-based distros.
