I submited yesterday a patch to get gcompris working with the 2.2
version of gcanvas (see the thread: from the python front)
I also run an LFS and just gone to Gnome2.2 but I don't have those
inverted colors (or I don't noticed them ? :) )
YOur problem is maybe coming with the screen updates changes coming with
gnomecanvas 2.2...
Maybe again doing a bug repot to gnome's people...
