[gcompris-devel] SuSE 8.1

Anyone successfully installed v2.3 on SuSE 8.1? My brain isn't functioning
at full capacity, but tell me why:

Using the rpm, I get failed dependencies of "gdk-pixbuf-gnome" and
"libc.so.6(GLIBC2.3)". The latter I understand as SuSE have not confirmed
glibc2.3 yet.

If I do a --nodeps, gcompris works, but with errors in console for various
games, all mentioning glibc2.3. Is there a work-around?

Installing from source insisted I didn't have the gnome libs...
