The lastest. But I made a previous installation about 6 month ago. I
maybe don't have the latest package for everything.
I add no problem with autotools on my side.
For assetml, the utility assetml-query works or seems to but not the
popt parsing. I prefered to go fast to get an overview of all the issues
we will face. Now we know.

Python is in cygwin but not all the bindings, especially the gnomecanvas
one. Today, python is only 2 boards so it's OK to let them out. It will
be a bonus for GNU/Linux users.

Well, I am not that hurry. I'd like to have a windows version in
January. Maybe once I understand the process and the correct tool to
use, it should go faster. I really need you to experiment and help me
find the correct path.
