I don't know. What is the problem, the number of colors is defined by X
itself. I expect it to make the appropriate translation to fit 256
colors.
What happens when you start gcompris on these PC ?

It is the way it works but after level 3 if I remember.
It was done this way not to confuse the kid at the first levels.

Thanks for the proposal.
I don't think a background music is appropriate but if you can record
your music and imagine an activity based on that, I am sure somebody
will write the code.
For example could we have an activity where a sample is played and the
kid must find it back by clicking and checking several sample choices.
Kind of basic hear training activity. What do you think ?
