Greet,

I am please to receive your help on gcompris. For the documentation,
there is two kinds of it.
One is included with each gcompris board .xml.in file and can be seen
when clicking on the help button within gcompris to get help (look at
boards/clickgame.xml.in for an example).
Is is dedicated to teachers or student and should provide help on what a
board is used for and how to play it.

As you may see, the gcompris web site includes a dynamically generated
screenshot website for each locale.
If the help is well documented within each board xml.in file the
ultimate goal is to add the help information on the web site and thus we
will have an easy to maintain documentation system for gcompris.

Then there is a developper oriented documentation that is online at
http://www.ofset.org/gcompris/gcompris.html
I did not get much feedback on its being usefull or not.
It is not very accurate but I believe it to be enough to start to
understand how gcompris's internal works.

Let me know is this sounds clear and where you feel cumfortable to help.

PS: I copy the gcompris developper list because I have perhaps not very
well explained this publicly.

Bruno.

I read with interest an article in LinuxFormat Magazine about your project, and understand you are looking for help with your documentation. I am planning to specialise in translation from French and German into English, and would like to offer my skills in both translation in this way and proof-reading of any English material you may already have.
