Oups, what a strange config. I am surprised that linux works on a fat.
The problem is that I am not sure this is the only problem you will
find. Changing the file name implies changing the code also.
I don't want to put a nail in this unless I am sure this is the only
necessary changes needed to help you.
Definitly, the easiest way is to get the cvs on a regular non fat
filesystem. Why can't you do that ?
