Dear Bruno,
In order to make a new debian package and install the last version of
gcompris in the primary school La Futaie, I have tried to compile gcompris on
a debian computer.
I have downloaded the cvs version (with a recent update - today)
During the configure phase, I get as a message (these are the only warning I
see)
checking for gconf-config... (cached) no
checking for GCONF - version >= 0.5... no
*** The gconf-config script installed by GCONF could not be found
*** If GCONF was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the GCONF_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to gconf-config.
Then the make stops at:
make
cd . && aclocal -I macros
aclocal: configure.in: 11: macro `AM_PROG_XML_I' not found in library
aclocal: configure.in: 13: macro `AM_DISABLE_STATIC' not found in library
aclocal: configure.in: 14: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
aclocal: configure.in: 26: macro `AM_PATH_GCONF' not found in library
make: *** [aclocal.m4] Erreur 1
I suppose this is related.
I could not find the "gconf-config" script in my system. It apparently does
not come with the gconf package.
What do I need to do ?
THanks
Nicolas
