Mantas, this is very confusing to me. I can't hardcode specific fonts
depending on the language.
For the aclocal change, I don't like it because you tell intltool not to
use utf8 but gcompris expect it from the xml files.
Also is you do that, xml.in files header will have to be changes to tell
it's not utf-8 but since one .xml file handle all locales translations,
you cannot use a specific one.

We need to take care of what we change here. Several stuff are
dependant. 
It is important to fix the issue properly so that it works in any case.
My bet is still that we should move toward using UTF since it becomming
more and more widely used.
