What's new in gcompris:

* Yet another new board created by Pascal Georges. This one includes
for the first time in gcompris a board with audio. In this board,
gcompris asks the child to ear a letter and click on it. This is a great
accomplishment for gcompris in introducing this kind of board. The only
drawback is that it is much more complex to translate because we need to
record the alphabet in each language. As of today, only FRENCH is
SUPPORTED
  * From Pascal, here is how to proceed to create the sound files:

        - Record with rec, grecord, bcast2000
        - Save as WAV file
        - Apply loudness transform with sox if necessary.
You may such script if the sound is too low :
                           #!/bin/sh
                           for i; do
                           sox $i modif/$i vol 5.0 amplitude 0.05
                           done
       - In the directory where WAV files are run "oggenc *.wav"
       - Send me a tar with all the sounds at bruno.coudoin at free.fr.
They will be included in gcompris.

  * A new board by Bruno for the smallest child. Discover the background
by erasing with the mouse.
This board idea is a step forward in the collaboration between ofset
and abul-edu since it has been developped after the evaluation of
gcompris by Hervé Baronnet from abul.

  * Added a repeat icon in the GCompris control bar for the new board
with audio
  * Changed the menu icon system to let gcompris display dynamically the
arrow indicating this icon is a menu
  * Changed the menu icon system to let gcompris display stars relative
to the board difficulties.
  * The star system is defined like this:

           - 1 star for 3 or 4 years old
           - 2 stars for 5 or 6 years old
           - 3 stars for 7 or 8 years old

  * sv and es locale updated

Bruno.
