... need to get a winge... no xterm showed up.
Also tried to do thing locally, unfortunately the video port refused to
cooperate.
A sanity check in case I'm walking up a dead end alley here, anyone know if
freennx/nx works on PPC64 at all? Saw a post here and there saying it does;
just curious if that's really the case.

Fine.
Now try it with the terminals, and we'll see if agent runs on
its own . . .
If you need to, you can use two ssh sessions, one
ssh -X with nxagent :2100
Wait for the window or an error message . . .
the other ssh with export DISPLAY=:2100 ; xterm
The xterm should appear in the window, else you
should get a winge . .
