Hi. You can verify who is listening in a specific port with the command:
netstat -anp | grep 20000

:2000.0 is the correct display -- i.e., it is the port used by freenx -- so
there should be something listening on it, right? Or am I confused?

That file exists. Not sure what the contents should be.
