I'm not sure why you need to set user configs, nor what you are trying
to set them too . .

You exported your ldap entries to an ldif file didn't you ??

You can import them from the same file . . . .

It's a lot simpler though . . .

Just try it.

Run the nomachine client.
Click the "Configure" button
On the "General" tab in the "Desktop section select "Unix" "Custom"
Click the "Settings" button and in the "Application section, select
"Run the following command" and enter /usr/bin/ooffice
Make sure the "Options" section has "Floating window" selected
but don't "Disable X agent encoding"

Log in as normal

Hmmmm
Well it won't be everything going wrong, (though it may look like it.)

Probably, you will be compiling to get a later version than is available 
as
an rpm, and mostly you will have a tranche of dependency errors
caused by the newer version needing new or newer versions of libraries.

These can cause other issues themselves, resulting in lots of work and a
system rather different from the one you started with.

However

The script I sent you is for 11.2 so you only need to install some devel
rpms (which it tests for).

It then compiles an rpm, so you can test the new version and
roll-back if there are issues.

Have a look through it first though, rather than just running something
someone sent you. 
(You may prefer to cut and paste sections and run them manually.)

My advise is to keep your NX libraries fairly current if you are having
problems.

You will hit the evdev keymaps issue if Thinstation moves to a later
linux version, unless you move to NX-3.4

Keeping up to date is now an issue with OpenSuse, who have
effectively dropped all NX stuff, not just FreeNX by not providing
an NX-.rpm
