3.4.0-7 is the latest client

Well if that's the issue, it should be working when you don't switch
mid session !!
Nomachine have just ( 30th March ) patched some libraries in 3.4.0
over an issue with us_intl not being recognised (among others),
but I think that was just to do with accented letters.
My guess is the issue is to do with your newer xorg (and evdev again),
because everyone else seems to be OK, though you don't say if it was
working just before you went to 7.5 . . .
I suppose we will have to wait for nomachine to catch up with whatever
has changed, although we may get a bit more feedback from other
people.
I might have a read around in the meantime.
