I send all my patches to nomachine. Last time I sent them a patch they
merged it into a new release within a few days.
They are really weird though; there is no way of actually talking to the
developers. I had to buy support tickets (which they later refunded)
just to get a reply from them. Once I had a ticket, their sales team
responded instantly, but I still could not directly correspond with the
developers.
Last time I sent them very detailed analysis of a bug, but no patch, I
heard absolutely nothing. But I did not have a support ticket that time,
which may be why they ignored me.
It will be interesting to see whether they merge this patch, as I did
not buy a support ticket this time either.
Does anyone else here have a better working relationship with nomachine?
It would be very useful to be able to talk to them and coordinate
work. I suggested creating a mailing list for this purpose, but I
received no response to this suggestion.
In the last few months I have single-handedly diagnosed about 5 major
bugs in nx, and at least one in freenx. It is very time-consuming and
getting rather frustrating that nobody wants to help.
