[FreeNX-kNX] Problems when connecting to a FreeNX server through a Sunray session

Hello,

I have been playing around with the FreeNX server and it appears to
function very well. Thanks to the developer for the great work in
developing a free software package that not only works but is also
easy to setup. I found that FreeNX was easier to get working than
the commercial version.

I am running into an issue when connecting to a FreeNX server through a
Sunray session. Running the client on a regular linux desktop
works with no issues.

The problem occurs when the FreeNX client establishes the Display connection.
As the session is established, the mouse pointer appears washed out with
lines through it. The same thing also occurs with all Desktop icons. I am
not sure what is happening but it appears that the icons are not being drawn
correctly.

I tried playing with the various JPG and RGB compression levels on the client,
and also tried tweaking other settings under Display performance to no avail.

Can anyone suggest a possible cause or perhaps a workaround ?

I am using FreeNX version 0.73 and version 3.3.0-6.

Thanks for any input that one can provide.
