[FreeNX-kNX] fedora 9: could not open default font fixed

using nxclient-3.2.0-9 to connect to nx-3.2.0-27.fc9.i386
freenx-0.7.2-0.fc9.i386.

I changed /etc/nxcserver/node.conf to AGENT_FONT_SERVER="unix/:7100"

No help.

So on the server I tried:

/usr/libexec/nx/nxnode --agent :1

which brought up an nx window, without any font errors. Then:

Does it matter that X is not running on the server?
