[FreeNX-kNX] colormask mismatch between Sun and Linux

I know that for resuming a NX session, the visuals of the X server must
match. The problem is that I also have to work with a Sun Ray Thin
Client, using the Sun Xnewt server, which for some reason uses the
following swapped colormask:

red, green, blue masks: 0xff, 0xff00, 0xff0000

whereas under Linux I have 

red, green, blue masks: 0xff0000, 0xff00, 0xff

Is there anything I can do about this? Is there maybe some way to set
the colormasks of my Linux Xorg installation manually? There is already
a trouble ticket at Nomachine regarding this issue, but it is still
"under evaluation" (TR05E01715).
