[FreeNX-kNX] Free-NX Performance Issue - state of the art

dear users,

we just had setup a free-nx server on debian etch. please see the
setup below:

clients (windows with nomachine client) 192.168.11.0/24

|
1mbit-SDSL-Line
|
|
|
Free-NX-Server (nomachine 3.0.0 + free-nx 0.71)
|
|
|
|
Linux-Server with a commercial X-Application
|
|
|
|
|

The clients are setup to start the following command: (in the
configuration menu i select UNIX then custom -> run the following
command...)

ssh -X user at Linux-Server /usr/local/bin/commercial-X-Application

Well, in this setup i do not notice any performance improvements at
all. Is this a common case for free-nx? or is the following setup not
working in fact of the ssh X-Forward?

Hints, advices or even recommendations are very welcome.
