Yes, just make sure the following is set in /etc/nxserver/node.conf:
ENABLE_MIRROR_VIA_VNC=0
ENABLE_DESKTOP_SHARING=0

Also check:
ENABLE_PERSISTENT_SESSION
ENABLE_AUTORECONNECT
