[FreeNX-kNX] NO SUCH FILE--Session ID

This is the section you should be investigating:
  NX> 596 Session startup failed.
NX> 1004 Error: NX Agent exited with exit status 1.
The subsequent bits about not being able to find things happens because the
session startup has already failed. This is a symptom of the failure not the
cause.

This is a tricky area to debug because lots of things could cause it. See the
wiki server page:
http://openfacts.berlios.de/index-en.phtml?title=FreeNX_FAQ/Server
About half way down the page there's a section 'What can I do if nxagent won't
start or I get a "NX>" protocol error?' gives a quick rundown on debugging
this area.
