[FreeNX-kNX] connection failure

I am new to this discussion list, but looking at the output you posted below, 
I remembered a similar situation while my first attempts to install freenx.
Although I am not an IT person (I do it for hobby), I fiddle a lot around to

To make a long story short, I do not think this problem is nx related. If you 
read the line 17 and 18 of the out put of your previous message, you can see 
that there is an MIT-MAGIC-COOCKIE problem. If I understood well the working 
of freenx, it needs root authorisation to display the graphic interface.  I 
noticed this, because I could not start any graphic interface as an "su" 
or "sudo" because this key was for some reason wrong, damage or what else. 
Since nx need this root authorization to run the GUI (not the session) 
everything goes right until the program needs to open the GUI and than it 
stucks and brings up this error I mentioned previously.

Still, I might be wrong. I could not find an way to correct this 
MIT-MAGIC-COOCKIE problem and so since my SO was due do get an upgrade I did 
it, and now everything is fine. My best guess is if you solve the 
authentication problem you probably solve everything else.

Unfortunately I can not help you further due to my restricted IT knowledge.
