[FreeNX-kNX] Problems migrating sessions from x86 to Mac

Hi,

I've run into a number of problems migrating sessions
started using the x86 client to the Mac client.

(a) The keyboard is entirely dysfunctional, i.e. hitting
a key produces an unexpected result as if a different
    key had been hit.

I found a description of this problem in the !M know-
ledge base, and it appears to have been fixed in
    their server implementation:
    http://www.nomachine.com/tr/view.php?id=TR10C01042

Quote: "This problem is due to the different keycodes
used on x86 and Apple platforms. [...] Every time a
session is resumed, the nxagent component should reset
the keyboard device and initialize it with a new key-
map, aligned with the platform of the remote display."

Perhaps it would be possible to adopt the same mech-
anic in FreeNX? FreeNX generally has trouble with key-
board layouts as numerous threads on the list show,
but this one can't be solved by calling setxkbmap in
the session it would appear. In any case, a fix would
    be nice.

(b) Upon resuming a session, whether it was started using
the Mac client or the Linux or Windows clients, all
text in my KDE session is drawn distorted. Clear text
can be obtained by switching fonts, it seems, but when
going back to the previous fonts, it's still rendered
wrong. Anybody got any idea how to reset that broken
caching or something along those lines?

Regards,
Eike Hein
