Strange. I did not change this part at all.

Could you try the following by "hand"?

echo sessionid=0F8E675400670EAEE2085BA0FD146450 | su - e.blindauer -c 
'/usr/bin/nxnode --terminate'

Possibly also with sh -x ...

Everything seems to be good though, so that's the only thing I could think of 
that could go wrong.
