which guides did you follow? how did you install? via source, via ports, via 
package?

i'm not sure that ENABLE_1_5_0_BACKEND="1" would help considering the latest 
released backend (nxserver) port for freebsd is version 1.4.0 ... 

it may be helpful to see the session log from your server.
