Hello.
I'm using
net-misc/nx-x11-1.5.0-r8
net-misc/nxcomp-1.5.0-r2
net-misc/nxproxy-1.5.0-r2
net-misc/nxserver-freenx-0.5.0.20060311-r1
on a Gentoo Linux system. As client, I used from nxclient-1.5.0-r4.
Those are all packages from the Gentoo Portage nx overlay.
When I quit the client, I get asked about if I want to suspend
or terminate the session. When I suspend and then login again,
the system tries to resume the session, and this doesn't work :(
This means, that I first see the window appear but it "crashes" (?)
right away. In the session log file, I get:
Info: Using local render version 0.8 with remote version 0.10.
Info: Detected window manager.
Info: Not using local device configuration changes.
Info: Reconnection succeded.
Info: Exiting dispatch loop with exception 0x2.
l or server shutdown).
xterm: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) or KillClient on X server "unix:1000.0"
: Shutting down the link and exiting.
What pipe get's broken?
When I then run the client again and try to login to the previously
crashed (?) session, I get in the NX_LOGFILE:
askwar at 127.0.0.1's password:
NX> 1000 NXNODE - Version 1.5.0-50-SVN OS (GPL)
NX> 1004 Error: Could not resume session. nxagent process could not be found.
NX> 105 NX> 596 Session startup failed.
And in the session log file, I get:
Info: Reconnection failed: NX Agent process could not be found.
What's wrong here?
Thanks a lot,
Alexander Skwar
