What version of FreeNX are you running Peter?
Are you running fullscreen, with a wm (ie. are you starting it from blackbox,
icewm or as a seperate session)?
I am running the same configuration (although TS2.2), and haven't seen this
behaviour, so need to find out our differences....:-)
