Proposal 3: 
Create a complete integration of FreeNX into Skolelinux and/or LTSP
--------------------------------------------------------------------

LTSP (the "Linux Terminal Server Project") provides diskless thin 
clients with a "network boot" option and remotely mounted (NFS) home 
directories, but it is currently limited to VNC sessions. FreeNX 
users have frequently asked for the feature to be able to create 
(Free)NX sessions by means of using an LTSP, K12LTSP or Skolelinux 
server. (K12LTSP and Skolelinux use LTSP).
 
Essential parts of this project:
-------------------------------- 
* the new "FreeNX/LTSP marriage" must support Skolelinux; for the 
  implementation agreement and cooperation with the Skolelinux 
  developers must be reached. 
* alternatively (if Skolelinux is not interested), the 
  implementation should support generic LTSP, and it is preferred 
  if agreement and cooperation with the Skolelinux developers is 
  reached instead of a spin-off or fork. 
* the new "FreeNX/LTSP marriage" must be fully documented.
