FreeNX should work for any window manager.
In your case all you need to do is configure your client to start IceWM. To do this with the commercial client, open up the configuration dialog, choose a custom Unix desktop, go to it's settings, and make it run the following command (without the quotes): "icewm". If you use IceWM experimental, the command is "icewm-experimental".

Now connect and voila! ;)

NX does not support this at the moment :(
I've heard that it will be implemented sometime in the future though.
