[FreeNX-kNX] FreeNX is faster when running applications under virtual-desktop than with floating window

Greetings!

I have been benchmarking FreeNX with the NX client from !M with various
options turned on and off on windowsXP.  I noticed that with applications
running with the Virtual desktop option - application performance is upto
20X faster  than when using the floating window option.

1) Anyone know why this is the case?  and
2) how the same performance can be achieved under the floating window
option?

My Enviroment Specifications:

Server -
OS - RHEL and FC4
NXSERVER - Version 1.4.0-44 OS (GPL)

Client -
OS - Windows XP
NX - 1.5 Client
