[FreeNX-kNX] Black screen after NX login

Similar situation here, see recent thread:
http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/freenx-knx/2005-December/002642.html
There's a line in the session file that says:
nxagentOpenScreen: No window manager is running, forcing fullscreen
mode.
...which may be a hint for where to look. Earlier on in the session file,
there's a string of nxagentParseOptions messages that indicate many options
are being ignored, including:
nxagentParseOptions: Processing option 'type' = 'unix-kde'.
nxagentParseOptionString: Warning ignored option 'type' =
'unix-kde'.
...that would seem to indicate a problem, too :)
I've been meaning to dig into this myself, but my plate's a bit full at the
moment.
