I thought you already had the version of FreeNX from my previous post. Anyway:

janne at serenity:~$ dpkg -l | grep -e freenx -e nxagent
ii freenx 0.3.1-2~5.04ub
ii nxagent 1.4.0-m2-1~5.0

Those are the versions provided by Ubuntu.

I'm well aware that there might be problems with versions. But like I said, it
DOES work. It worked perfectly in the past. And it works perfectly for my
wife. But for some reason it doesn't work for me. If I try to create a
NX-connection on this machine, to NX-server running on this machine, using my
username, it doesn't work. If I use my wife's username, it works beautifully.
Only difference between the setups is the username.

AFAIK, nothing has changed on my setup. Suddenly it just stopped working for
me.

On XP I'm using the 1.5.0-client. And it worked beautifully earlier. And it
works right now if I log in with my wife's username. If I try it with my
username, it doesn't work. The problem is identical when I try to log in on
the Linux-machine. So the problem exists on two different clients.
