Hi,

I am pleased to annouce the availability of nxtunnel version 0.3.
This fixes the bugs noted by Kurt Pfeifle:

  - The -p options to specify an alternate ssh port should correctly
    work now.
  - The script checks for both nc and netcat when searching for the
netcat binary and uses the first one found.
  - The nx_root variable is expanded on the remote side as well as the
local side (hence if you have a different home directory on the
application server, the log file directories should be created
    correctly).

Also included in this version is more robust code to make sure that
nxproxy and nxagent shutdown when the connection goes down and a new
argument -C. This parameter can be used to specify the level of
compression. 6 is the default and should be good for most uses. 0
means maximum image quality which 9 represents a very high level of
compression (including color reduction to 4k colors). For a really
slow connection (e.g. 56k), you might need to specify -C 8 or even -C
9.

There is a new verbose mode, -vvv, which really dumps everything.
Please use this when reporting bugs.

As usual, you can find nxtunnel at:

   http://web.walfield.org/pub/people/neal/nxtunnel/

I am interested in both bug reports and success stories (specifically
what configurations, e.g. distributions, have been tested and are
known to work).

Thanks,
Neal
