[FreeNX-kNX] nxtunnel-0.2 not working (but finding xauth now)

Here is a remote session transcript. The local nxtunnel client was in
fact the Knoppix "aKademy Edtion" as you can find at 

   http://debian.tu-bs.de/knoppix/aKademy-edition/

It runs one of the 1.4 NX snapshots of NX proxy snapshots (wrongly 
announcing itself as "1.3.2" due to a bug/missing version update) in 
the sources), and the NoMachine commercial client.

I can use the NX/NoMachine client just fine to connect to the server
"remotenx". I can also use the Knoppix-shipped KDE "knx" client just 
fine to connect.

However, the nxtunnel-0.2 script gives this output:
