I am thinking that a specific announcement targeted toward Elisa (a bit like 
Kdenlive developers do) could be nice given the changes in the release rhythm 
(and version number) and the lack of blog about Elisa during the last few 
months.

I would also add a workaround for cases where Baloo is used but configured 
paths are not indexed by Baloo. It makes Elisa unusable in those cases. That 
is very bad for the users.

There are also still some Windows specific issues that will need to be fixed 
(but could be on bugfix releases).
